I once found some really nice furniture made of really heavy wire covered in plastic so that the summer rains did not harm it ...... it was never hot from the sun ...... but it was in a park, and I never was there when the caretakers were there, to ask where it had come from ...... I love that stuff.
With it went nice low round tables on a pedestal, in heavily coated natural wood ... they were also rainproof and really nice ... spill proof, too, and low enough for a child to feel comfortable using....
In this particular park, there were no umbrellas because planted in the seating section were Honey Locusts ... disarming and lovely ...
Ta!
What kind of garden furniture do you like?
Hammocks.
Reply:I prefer cast iron frame with wood.
Reply:On a low income all i can afford is plasitc and cheap at that.
Reply:i like but cannot afford this table with stools made out cement/ceramic. with a glazed finish and a chinese theme on it. it is sturdy and waterproof but 500 for a little table and 4 stools. It would only work for a little garden sitting area thou.
Reply:i like benches and full sets with the chairs, parasol and table i am just looking at them now to get something for my recently landscaped garden i think i am going to go for two benches and a matching table they have wrought iron ends, legs and arms and the rest is made from a treated wood that i will re-treat every year to keep them from weathering
Reply:I am a hardwood girl!
Reply:Any garden furniture made from recycled timber as i don't agree with the felling of our trees, all garden furniture made uses natural resources in one way or another.
