What dog should i get?

i want a dog that stays pretty small is very fluffy and cute and is able to entertain it self without ripping apart the garden and to be able to do so for a long period of time as i am at school but get home in abt 10 min the dog will always be out side so furniture breakige not an issue please help thankyou

To be quite frank you shouldn't be getting a dog if you're going to keep it outside all the time, and are away at school most of the day. Dogs should not be left alone all day. A bored dog is a destructive dog. Say goodbye to that garden of yours. Dogs need companionship, and you just have the time in your life to offer that. Sorry, but the truth.
Reply:You need to find a dog that fits with you. Go to the pound. "Interview" dogs. Play with at least five before you make a choice. Also, why not get a crate? Why make the dog stay outside? You'll be happier if you make it part of your family and teach it the rules.
Reply:I have a shih tzu and they are small and fluffy, and they do not shed like other dogs. he stays home about eight hours a day and is family friendly. it is a great breed
